There is no magic or high-tech trickery involved in installing your newly purchased Voices

Install (TomTom Navigator)
The voice package from this site comes in a compressed (zipped) folder voice_name.rar and contains two files:

dataXX.chk - the voice file
dataXX.bmp - the voice picture file

where XX is the voice number, for instance data05.chk, which, incidentally, is "Jane".
The standard TomTom voice files are not accompanied by the picture files.
You will need to copy all files to the directory (folder) where the voice files are kept on your TomTom device.

1, Create a Directory (Folder) called 'Voices' on your computer
2, Extract the files from the downloaded compressed folder voice_name.rar to the 'Voices' directory (folder)
3, Connect your TomTom to your computer via the USB port according to TomTom manual

Your computer should see the TomTom as a "Removable Disk".
You can now copy the files to and from the TomTom.

4, Locate the Voices Directory (Folder) on your TomTom Device

When you TomTom is connected to your computer you should see something similar to this:

There is a directory (folder) called 'Voices' on your TomTom Device that's where all the voices files are.
If you open this directory (folder) you should see something similar to this:

As you can see there are plenty of voices already installed on this particular TomTom.
All you need to do is to copy the files from the 'Voices' directory (folder) which you created in Step 1 on your computer to the voices directory (folder) on your TomTom.

5, Wait till all the operations have been completed, then switch off and disconnect your TomTom.

Install (TomTom 6.02 - Nokia N95 Patched Version for Internal GPS)

1, Create a Directory (Folder) called 'Voices' on your computer
2, Extract the files from the downloaded compressed folder voice_name.rar to the 'Voices' directory (folder)
3, Connect your Nokia Phone to your computer via the USB port according to Nokia manual

Your computer should see the Nokia Phone as a "Removable Disk".
You can now copy the files to and from the Mobile Phone

4, Locate the TomTom Directory (Folder) on your Mobile Device

There is a directory (folder) called 'TomTom' on your Mobile Device that's where all the voices files are.

All you need to do is to copy the files from the 'Voices' directory (folder) which you created in Step 1 on your computer to the TomTom directory (folder) on your TomTom.

5, Wait till all the operations have been completed, then disconnect your Mobile phone

6, Unplug your Mobile device and load the TomTom application.

Activate
To enable the new Voices on your device:

1 .Open 'Change Preferences' from the Main Menu.
2. Select 'Change Voice'
3. If you have correctly followed the steps, your new Voices will be shown on the routes planned
4. Use left and right arrows to select the newly installed Voices.
