Here is a quick guide on how to use the software

Step 1: Launch the the Apple Downloader

Step 2: Click on the selected firmware or app your wish to download

Step 3: Click the Download button

Step 4: Once downloaded you will be given the option to launch the selected app or open the folder containing the firmware

Step 5: Click the "View Guide" Button if available for your desired firmware version and then you will have step by step guides advising you on the process ;)
